Classic Pancake Holster
The pancake is the OWB holster that started it all — the classic, near enough unchanged for a century now. Two belt slots that pull it in tight against your hip, so the pistol rides close and flat enough to conceal under a shirt, with a fast, clean draw. It's the everyday belt holster, done right.
This one is about comfort. If you want to conceal, but you want comfort more than you want concealment, the pancake is your holster.
Outside the waistband is always more comfortable than inside — nothing is pressed between your belt and your body all day. What you give up is a measure of concealment. That's the trade, and for a lot of people it's the right one.
Each one is cut from full-grain Wickett & Craig leather and lined with 3 oz. Wickett & Craig, then wet-molded to your exact handgun — the 1911, Glock, Sig, and most any semi-auto, along with medium-size revolvers and smaller. I don't build it for the big wheelguns. A heavy, long-barrelled revolver hanging off a pancake isn't comfortable, and comfort is the whole reason to choose this holster in the first place.
The mouth is reinforced so it holds its shape for a smooth draw and an easy one-handed re-holster, year after year.
Offered in brown, black, and mahogany. Handmade in the USA, wet-molded to one gun: yours.
Current lead time: approximately 4 months on all custom holsters.
