The Outdoorsman is my field holster for big-bore revolvers, built to carry a heavy wheelgun on your belt through country where you actually use it. It rides on a wide contact patch with an integrated belt stop, so it stays put on the draw and doesn't shift around on horseback, on an ATV, or after a hard mile on foot.
It's wet-molded to your exact revolver, single- or double-action, from full-grain Wickett & Craig leather lined with 3 oz. Wickett & Craig. I build it for just about any big-bore wheelgun you'd pack in the backcountry (from a Ruger or a Colt up to a .500 S&W BFR) with a straight-pull draw that's smooth and natural and a fit that holds the gun secure until you want it.

When I first purchased this holster, I wasn’t exactly sure what I was looking for. I just knew that I needed a good holster for my colt anaconda. This is my second holster from Just In Case, and like the first I love it. The turn around was exactly as was expected, quality is unbeatable, its a gorgeous holster, they’re my go to guys.
Sometimes buying online can be difficult. I phoned Mr. Sproul with my questions before ordering and was overjoyed when he took the time to answer my questions and ensure my holsters would be exactly how I wanted them.
I like cross-draw holsters. I know, old school but hard to find nowadays. This paddle allow you to adjust to carry it strong side or cross draw. But I found several different cross-draw styles on his site. I was very pleased with the uniqueness of his holsters. I was able to purchase two cross-draw holsters and make them different and unique, yet kept the same style of holsters.
What really sold me was the double magazine pouches that he would match to the holster. They are spectacular! And really sets off your rig! The matching gun belt finishes off the set!
I was looking for high end leather holsters, highly tooled with a unique and custom design/fit for the finer guns in my collection. Nothing comes close to the Superb tooling, custom styles and perfect fit to your individual guns. Plus the ability to mix and match your holster with “8” different colors. “9” thread colors and “9”stamp patterns. I spent hours browsing the gallery and produce line that showcase his holsters and their many styles and colors on his website. Very informative and his holsters are truly works of ART. There are few “CRAFTSMAN.” left of his caliber. To have a custom holster designed by you and individually made for you is almost unheard of nowadays. The wait was worth it and I proudly carry my cherished guns in these magnificent functional holsters.

I own several holsters from Just In Case and love them all, but this one, wow, is absolutely gorgeous. The craftsmanship and beautiful leather he used is stunning. The fit of it, both for the pistol and comfort, are as good as can be imagined. The price point is also very good, though I love what he charges, I’d happily pay twice as much for this holster. Without a doubt, this is my favorite rig from him and any other maker I have. My expectations were exceeded with this rig, definitely a satisfied customer.
Premium, custom holster from a premier leather holster craftsman. The detail within the leather artwork, along with the overall finish of the holster, is superb. Well worth the investment and wait time. This holster is a showpiece and will last for decades.

First of all it looks great! It fits my Colt Anaconda 4.25" perfectly. I couldn't ask for more, it's as good as I had hoped it would be. I'm very pleased.
